    The cohort pauses over Christmas and the New Year. No new module opens during this period, and no assessment is due. Candidates use the recess to bring their portfolio of evidence up to date and to complete or re-record any outstanding practical or video assessments from Modules 01–10 — rest is also a legitimate and expected use of this time.

    How to use the recess
    • Review your portfolio and confirm all evidence from Modules 01–10 is complete and up to date.
    • Re-record or complete any outstanding practical or video assessments (for example, Gospel proclamation, Daily Office leadership, or homily recordings).
    • Rest, pray, and keep sabbath with your own household and community over Christmas and the New Year.
    Completion evidence — Recess

    No graded evidence is required during the recess. The cohort resumes with Module 11 in the third week of January 2028.
