Module 3 cohort discussion — attendance
The required monthly cohort discussion follows Unit 3.4. The Course Director will publish two time-slot choices and joining arrangements in this activity before the call. Select and attend one offered session. Your cohort has a minimum of two learners. If access, care, work or time-zone difficulties prevent attendance, contact the Course Director before the call; any alternative attendance arrangement must be authorised.
Come prepared with your completed Day 1–5 notes, the existing required reading, and one question drawn from the module. The purpose is serious formation in community: honest speech, generous listening, confidentiality, and accountable reflection. Cameras should be on where possible. Do not record the call, take screenshots, or share another learner’s story outside the cohort without express permission. The group discussion question is: What kind of servant does the New Testament form?
After the call, record a private note: one insight received from another learner, one question you need to carry forward, and one practice you will apply in the next module. Keep this note in your private portfolio; no additional upload is required.
Preparation and completion
Prepare to speak for two minutes on the New Testament text that has most reshaped your understanding of service. Bring one remembered insight from a fellow learner’s Module 2 discussion without repeating private details. If you joined later or have no such contribution to recall, bring an additional insight from your own study.
There is no file upload here. After the session, the Course Director records 1 out of 1 to confirm attendance, or completion of an expressly authorised alternative. The pass mark is 1. Your private discussion summary belongs in your portfolio; it is not an additional Moodle submission. The cohort has a minimum of two learners. Module 4 remains restricted until this attendance requirement and the other required activities are complete.
