Unit 4 — Finding your courses and your place

Once you are signed in, two areas help you find almost everything you need.

My courses

My courses lists every course in which you are enrolled. Choose a course card to open it. The card may also show your progress through activities that have completion tracking.

The top bar

The navy bar remains available throughout the site. Home returns to the Institute front page. My courses returns to your enrolled courses. The bell shows notifications. Your initials or photograph open your profile menu, preferences, and the Log out action.

The course index

Inside a course, the course index lists its sections and activities. On a narrow screen it may be closed by default; use the course-index control near the top left to open it. Completion symbols in the index help you find the point where you stopped.

Your progress is saved to your account, so you may leave and return later without starting again.
