Unit 9 — Taking a quiz and using the timer

Some courses include quizzes and some do not. Quiz lengths, question banks, time limits, pass marks, and permitted attempts vary; always read the summary for the quiz you are about to take.

Starting

1. Open the quiz and read its summary.
2. Choose Attempt quiz and confirm if asked.
3. If the quiz is timed, the timer begins when the attempt starts.

While you are working

Answer each question according to the type stated in its wording. Use the navigation controls to move between questions. A quiz-navigation panel shows answered and unanswered questions.

Finishing

Choose Finish attempt. Check the summary for unanswered questions, then choose Submit all and finish and confirm. If time expires, a timed attempt is normally submitted with the answers already saved.
