Unit 12 — Phones, tablets, troubleshooting, and help
Approximate time for this unit: 5 minutes
Using a phone or tablet
The learning site works on a small screen. The course index and top navigation collapse to save space, so use their menu controls to open them. Reading on a phone is usually comfortable; for timed quizzes or substantial written work, a larger screen and stable connection are preferable.
If something goes wrong
- A page will not load: refresh it, then close and reopen the browser if necessary.
- An activity will not open: read the access note beneath its title; it names the requirement still outstanding.
- Your progress looks wrong: check whether the activity needed Mark as done or an automatic action such as a submission.
- You lost connection during a quiz: sign in again and return to the quiz. Saved answers should remain, although a timer continues running.
- You cannot sign in: use the password-reset process from Unit 3.
Getting help
Write to hello@apostolicoldcatholic.org. Tell us which course and activity you were using, what you expected, what happened instead, and which device and browser you used. A screenshot is often helpful, provided it contains no private information.
After marking this unit as done, complete the practice assignment and practice quiz that follow.
