Scripture Study worksheet — due at the end of Unit 2.3
Submit the separate worksheet begun in Unit 2.1. Choose one word only: covenant (H1285), steadfast love/mercy (H2617), or justice/judgement (H4941). Study at least four actual occurrences across different parts of the Old Testament. For each, provide the CPDV text, verified tool evidence, context, the word’s contribution and one sentence about what the passage shows about God. End with a developed paragraph on diaconal service.

How your work will be reviewed
The Course Director will give formative feedback using the criteria below. Strong work is accurate, contextual, clearly reasoned and practically grounded. Developing work identifies relevant ideas but needs fuller evidence or clearer connections. Work needing revision contains significant errors, unsupported claims, incomplete requirements or unclear authorship. This upload records submission; it does not by itself certify that your portfolio has been approved.
- Text and evidence: at least four accurate references and quotations, with the selected word verified in each.
- Interpretation: a sense supported by the sentence and context; lexical range is not treated as a hidden code.
- Theological comparison: careful observations about God and meaningful similarities or differences between the passages.
- Diaconal application: one coherent, practical conclusion, with honest limits and your own acknowledged work.
