Module 08 — Cohort discussion attendance
Participate in the Module 8 cohort discussion with a minimum of two people. Discuss how proclamation and presence bear faithful witness to the Gospel, and what responsible public speech looks like. Bring one non-identifying example of religious speech that helped and one that harmed, explaining why without naming or mocking anyone.
The Course Director will publish the session choices and joining arrangements through course announcements. Select and attend one offered session. If work, care, access or time-zone difficulties prevent attendance, contact the Course Director before the call; an alternative requires authorisation under the published absence-and-catch-up process.
Listen generously and protect confidentiality. Do not record, take screenshots or share another person’s story without express permission. Afterwards retain a private note of one insight, one question and one practice to carry forward; it is not another upload. The tutor records one mark after confirmed attendance or an authorised alternative. A passing staff record completes this activity. The optional mentor conversation is encouraged but is not an access condition.
